Tips to optimize your Facebook Page

leads

Facebook is a very important social network to share content. However during 2014 Mark Zuckerberg’s social network has adopted some policies to limit the reach of posts, in particular the so-called fan pages.

Facebook is a company, and according to this premise the ultimate goal is to make money! Limit the reach of posts is a way to ‘force‘ the pages to do sponsored posts where, upon payment, it is guaranteed a range of ‘X’ users. This measure is not new on the internet, where the guaranteed range is becoming increasingly paid.

However here are some tips to maximize your Facebook business page.

- Schedule your posts: Only posting from time to time has two negative aspects. On one hand if your page has few fans, it is unlikely to increase this number in an organic form (non-paid posts), and on the other hand if your page already has a considerable number of fans, this will make them gradually lose interest (because they are not seeing new content). It is also important to refer that by not adding content, your page will tend to ‘disappear‘ from your followers wall, even if they remain connected to your page.

Facebook itself no longer shows your content

Tip: Do not let too much time pass without sharing content, create a sharing plan for example: 2 shares a day, 5 shares a week, choose the combination of posts that best suits your schedule.

Be relevant to your followers

-Diversify your content: Although you’re a real estate company, people who follow your page will want to see more than properties. It is important to diversify content in order to cause a constant interaction of fans on your page. Each company will manage their content on social networks the way they feel is right, however remember the following: A fan will share a property, only if they are looking for one, or know someone who is looking for a property! If your properties do not reach fans, do something that makes fans reach your properties.

Tip 1: Share more generic content. Sharing “good day” or “good week” images are excellent for creating shares by your fans. Remember: Share what your fans want to share, by doing so your page will reach other people including your fans contacts, increasing the visibility of your page.

Tip 2 – Seasonal Images: Easter, Christmas, Carnival, Father´s day, Mother’s day, or Children’s day are great to share more diversified content. Combine them with real estate publicity. For example, if you are in the holiday rental market, suggest an attractive property to spend a weekend or a holiday!

A ‘Happy Monday’ image can be an excellent post for a Monday morning, and it will probably be shared.

Tip: Share news related to real estate, relevant news to your customers. For example: reduced spread, real estate lines of credit, etc. Use the news section of real estate portals as a source.

Wishing you great week and many sales!
